APEC (The Atlantic Provinces Economic Council ) is an independent think tank dedicated to economic progress in Atlantic Canada and its annual business outlook conference is attended by thousands of leading professionals.
The theme for this particular year was how maritime businesses were reaching out globally while opening up its doors to imports.
The inspiration for the work came from one of the most respected magazines; The New Yorker. We began rough sketches using a 4B pencil on paper of global landmarks. Those initial sketches became the look and feel we were after. We brought them into photoshop and laid out the illustrations on a Dr. Seuss-esque conveyor belt.
The results were graphically bold and spirited. The theme; “Let’s Get Out of Here” was heard LOUD and CLEAR!
